Black Death - the documentary

Black Death, a documentary directed by Andre Christopher Ardiaca, traces the journey of the worldwide famous rock band "Black Death" and his lead singer, "Dude", during their last 80s tour.
Back then, Black Death was at the top of its popularity until all the band members started disappearing under mysterious circumstances. The first to go was Paul Anton, the famous drummer, who died accidentally during a concert at Earls Court. Scott Nichols, Sebastien Jack and Pierce Mc Gill followed Paul Anton's fate and died tragically one by one.

To commemorate the launch of their new collaboration, Feiyue and Bonton have invited parents and their children to join them once again for a special event.

Children didn’t have time to lose due to all the available activities: from a workshop to create pop-up books to another to paint chocolate sneakers, along with a dance competition, an entertaining clown, a surprising magician and a foosball. Not to mention the cupcakes, pancakes, cotton candy and popcorn!

Star shaped balloons were given to all the guests so they could bring home a souvenir of this fantastic party. More photos.

Teaser Black Death - the documentary

Back in the 80s, Andre Christopher Ardiaca, a big rock fan and filmmaker, decided to follow hard rock hit band Black Death for a year. Willing to produce a tribute to the most important band of his generation, he finally ended being a privileged witness of the incredible tragedy the group was part of. Paul Anton, the band’s famous drummer was the first one to go, dying suddenly during a concert at Earls Court. That was just the beginning of Black Death’s slope with the rest of the group members leaving this world one by one. Criminal inquiries lead to no conclusion and only Dude seemed to be able to escape the tragic course.

Feiyue x Bonton

After the success of their first collaboration, Feiyue and Bonton are teaming up again this season to present a new model perfect for sunny spring days.
This limited edition of the Delta Mid Kid combines the identity codes of both brands: red and blue chevrons, "Take it easy" print on the insole and embroidered collab logo on the sneaker tongue. The unisex style is sold in a star printed box that also includes pairs of laces (blue, red, white and silver).
Bonton has created two outfits for the occasion. T-shirts, socks, pants and tutus to recreate the spirit of American colleges, boys will get a preppy style while girls will become cheerleaders for a day.
A launch party will take place next March 14th on one of Bonton’s Parisian stores (5, Boulevard des Filles du Calvaire, 75003, Paris). On the program: dance classes, a workshop to create chocolate sneakers, realization of animated books and snacks for those with sweet teeth.

Feiyue's latest campaign

After exploring Asia and Europe, Feiyue was willing to go on a road trip around the United States. It was time to head for the West Coast. For the fourth chapter of its journey, the brand left to conquer Los Angeles. A shooting on the spot directed by Estelle Rancurel, who has been working with the Feiyue team for four seasons. The crew ventured away from the studio for a trip staged in three parts starting in Venice Beach, continuing to the Californian desert and finishing on a residential neighborhood in Los Angeles. Three universes representing Feiyue’s values, its “Playgrounds”.

Last Thursday night, Feiyue opened its first flagship store in Paris. The shop is located in the heart of the 11th arrondissement. The brand has chosen rue de Charonne, one of the busiest streets in the area thanks to the trendy art galleries, popular coffee shops and stores.
Architect Jean-Guillaume Mathiaut used pure lines, light, and raw materials to recreate the brand’s identity in this 50sqm space.
Feiyue presented its entire FW11 collection that includes not only sneakers, but also apparel, collaborations and other objects related to the brand’s universe.
Those who missed the opening night are invited to discover the new shop at 31 rue de Charonne (Paris). Open from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Monday to saturday

«Feiyue chez agnès b.» launch party

Last night, Feiyue and agnès b. organised a special event at the Nouveau Casino to celebrate the launch of their collaboration.
The brands are proposing a bi-material sneaker for next season. This model combines elegance and sobriety and comes in two exclusive colors (white and anthracite).
To get on with the launch, a music compilation has been produced, with two of the artists, Scratch Massive and Arnaud Rebotini, playing live for the occasion.
This collaboration is already available in agnès b. stores (Europe, US and Asia) and will also be distributed in selected Feiyue retailers early next year.

Last Thursday, many people reunited at Café du Commerce, in Paris’ 18th arrondissement, to celebrate the second round of Feiyue’s pinball contest. The teams battled throughout the night but only the ‘Sultans of Swing of Hel”l ended up first. Congratulations!
For those who weren’t there, a new event will be organised soon. Train as much as you can because the competion is getting even tougher!
